So, its been FOREVER (ok, like, 2.5 months, but that feels like forever) since Berns and I have taken time to do something with just the two of us. So we packed up the two kiddos and shipped them 3 blocks over to my sisters house. it was the first time we left Zoie with someone and ventured out on a DATE!!! YAY FOR DATES!!!
And what better way to spend our date than at a concert! 
We were lucky to go see the Brett Dennon/Collbie Caillat/John Mayer concert! Not only was it so exciting to have a night out with my wonderful husband--but the concert was amazing! I love Colbie Caillat's music; and I was very impressed with how good John Mayer was live! It was a night of summer laziness, good guitar-playin, hand clappin, hip swayin, and sing-along-cause-you-know-all-the-lyrics music. Thanks honey for such a grand time!!!

So fun! I'm glad you guys got to go on a date, maybe I should try one of those some time...
I love it when you blog. I love seeing your pictures but especially love hearing you sound SO HAPPY. And, yes, your daughters are darling. And, yes, Berns is wonderful. But I have no idea who those singers are and wouldn't have known even one word of a song to sing along. I'm out of it.
